ALL PROGRAMS/ CLICK ON PAINT
OPEN IMAGE – FILE/OPEN
Selecting a portion of the image to keep
CLICK ON RECTANGLE SELECT
+ APPEARS ON SCREEN
DRAW AROUND IMAGE TO SELECT
CLICK ON EDIT/CUT
FILE/NEW/
NEW WINDOW APPEARS WITH SELECTION
CLICK ON OK
BLANK CANVAS APPEARS
CLICK ON EDIT PASTE – TO PASTE THE PICTURE ON THE NEW CANVAS
Save image and keep the original
Click on File/save as
Save in window appears
To add ed to the end of the file name – click on the right arrow on the keyboard and type ED
Check the file type is .JPG – if it is not click on the down arrow and select .JPG
Chose a location to save the file to by clicking on
My Computer/your name/ Edited graphics
Click on Save
